It looks like 0.9.11 of PulseAudio should fix this, though I haven't
tried it myself.

I just wanted to re-voice the importance of this issue. It was a huge
problem for me with many major sites until I just recently discovered
this fix. I'm not sure how, but installing Firestarter made it finally
work properly.
