Does not display wallpaper in slideshow if path contains space

yes tried escaping... it did not work. I am using Ubuntu 11.04.
STEPS to reproduce.
1) Create folder "My Scenes" with images for wallpaper.
2) Create background-3.xml as attached for wallpaper slideshow
3) Right click on desktop -> Change Desktop background -> click Add and select
xml file.

I was trying to create slideshow of wallpapers so created background-2.xml
file. When I give path like

"/home/naveen/Pictures/My Scenes/127_Hours.jpg"
It fails recognize the image where as, When I change to
1795.0
/home/naveen/Pictures/Scenes/127
