On Fedora, it seems that the Bug occurs more often when using dual-
monitor set-up, making it change to "mirror displays" after the (self
initiated) restart of gnome shell. This both happens with the open
source drivers as well as with prop. catalyst drivers (ATI 1
s a driver-related problem.

I can relatively safetly say that applying

fixes the crashes for me in Linux Mint Lisa 12 x64. On the other hand,
thise fix seems to make the system refuse to shut down sometimes and it
remains in cryostasis.

I want to know why this is marked as "fixed" for Mint 12. Obviously it
is not or no fix has been released yet. Does this Issue relate to gnome-
shell? If so, is it fixed in gnome-shell 3.4?
I'm sticking to the classic mode now, this seems to work. (metacity or
compiz)
