I'm having a similar problem on my laptop. Jaunty just freezes and all I
can do is move the cursor around.
Sometimes it happens several times a day (I'm getting all nostalgic and
thinking of the good old win98 days)
As reported above it doesn't seem to be correlated with any specific
apps.

I've updated my version of Ubuntu since then. The package versions er
now the same: 0.61.09 and synfigstudio runs without problems.

workspace [Right|Left|Up|Down]". But the options given doesn't fit with the
