Public bug reported:
I own the Razer Blade 15 (2018) laptop with the Microsoft Precision
Track pad, and the 4.16 or the 4.17 kernel was not able to detect the
track pad.
I do believe that this is affecting all Razer Blade 15 laptops, due to
the nature of the issue.
I tried both the 4.16 and 4.17

Title:
Regression in vga handling ubuntu10
Hi Marc,
Tested on same Win server 2008R8 VM image, with -24test PPA package
installed, < 30 sec boot to login screen. All looks good again.
Let me know how we can binary search the issue if that help. I'm happy
to compile up code if it is 'out-of-the-box' type stuff.
Cheers,
Carl

Hi Carl,
thank you for your detailed report!
This is the second qemu/xen bug for regressions in these security
updates in one day - with none (=0) of them over the last two years -

FYI I cannot repeat this with the above re-creation instructions but
gnome-shell is reseting VERY frequently (2 - 3 times per hour) with the
same error. I'm not exactly sure what triggers it but it crashed while I

The patch 02_skip_begin is mentioned at revision 1.03-13 but there is no

Thank you for your reply.
Well, I did several tests of having a clean system, installing only the
libvirt0 package and then compiling and installing libvirt-bin with
--prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var, and libvirt0 still makes
my compiled version crash. Did I miss a directory?
Public bug reported:
The package libvirt0-1.3.1-1ubuntu10.10 included in Ubuntu 16.04 breaks
libvirt-bin 3.4+ compiled from official libvirt sources. It should be replaced
by a dummy package.
I've tested this with libvirt 3.4 and libvirt 3.5, both versions will fail if
libvirt0 is installed.
