This bug has re-appeared yesterday on my 14.04 installation with the
upgrade from kernel 4.4.0-62 to 4.4.0-63.
I've attached the crash log.

I can confirm this bug with 9.04 and a Twinhead Stylebook 12D. The
workaround (sudo modprobe -r psmouse;sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps)
also works for me. The issue appeared after the upgrade to 9.04. The
touchpad had worked before with 8.10.
