On a fresh install of 11.10, 64 bit, the wireless light light on the
front of the laptop by the keyboard no longer is lit up when using
wireless. Light turns on during startup and BIOS, but during Ubuntu OS
load the light turns off.
Previously worked fine in 11.04 64 bit.

I notice this bug as well randomly at startup as well. Holding down the
command key only shows shortcuts for the letter keys 's,a,f,t', not any
of the number shortcuts.

This is a similar bug to previous versions of empathy, only this is in
the 10.10 version, Maverick Meerkat.
Basic commands like /msg and /join do not work under the IRC protocol in
Empathy verison 2.32.0.1

This error was due to me installing the add-ons from the web, not using
the packages in synaptic. installing the following packages (removing
the extensions from thunderbird first):
lightning-extension
calendar-google-provider
calendar-timezones
fixed all these issues. User error, my

upon launching a game in zsnes, the application crashes and returns to
the netbook launcher at a reduced resolution of 640x480. Also, gamepad
input recogniztion does not work in zsnes. Done using Dell Mini 9

Just want to confirm this bug in Ubuntu 8.10 using the nvidia
proprietary driver with compiz. Setting desktop effects to 'none' and
adding 'compiz --replace' and unchecking Window manager (gnome-wm) in
the session startup greatly helped the issue.
