Happening to me using 16.04
Usually notice it has turned off while in VScode or bash, or while typing a
comment into a bug report about the issue.
I have noticed it turn of mid typing; use arrow key to move over (working), go
to delete (not working)

1. add analog back into backend, change card priorities so that when i
test in LiveTV it doesn't start in analog, then try switching from
digital to analog and back again (instead of other way around which i
know fails)

Have been trying to save music to ipod classic 120, or to create a playlist on
the ipod. The rhythmbox simply shuts down with no other key strokes. After
restarting none of the activity attempted
I've had three systems now affected by this bug, when building
nvidia-190 kernel modules. Same issue with nvidia-185 as well, this
seems highly related to bug 438393 as noted above, but since it does not
involve the environment variables I'm posting here.
