Did anyone with this issue try to (re-)install indicator-appmenu?
sudo apt-get install indicator-appmenu
After this (re-login first) HUD also worked on Unity 2D.

Seems to be an issue with Unity 2D. When logging out choose Unity
Session an log in HUD is availiable.
[1] says HUD is not available in Unity 2D and names a repo for 2D packages with
enabled HUD.
Should the title of this bug renamed to '"Error: HUD service not connected"
when opening HUD in Unit
seems to affect only unity-2s session

This bug is not about copying text-only into LibreOffice but about
LibreOffice showing the *sourcecode* of dragged text from a Website. If
I select Text on a Website, then Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V in LibreOffice the
behaviour is as expected.
This bug affects all releases of LibreOffice on all distributions.

The reporter suggests Firefox as the source of the problem.
This seems to be false because if you drag and drop selected text from Firefox
into Gedit or even into Abiword no source code is shown. Drag and Drop from
Firefox into LibreOffice on Windows works so it seems to be a linux specific
bug

I had to delete '.config/libreoffice/3/user/extensions' after updating to
proposed lo-menubar (0.1.1-0ubuntu0.1).
Otherwise the menu was not integraded into panel and LO-Menus where not
available via HUD.
