I tried to install Ubuntu 17.10 on a 32-bit Laptop (eeePC900A) from the
mini.iso on a USB stick.
The install starts, but hangs at the stage of the mirror selection with the
error message / Warning:
"choose-mirror: mirror does not support the specified release (artful)"

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evince
The document seems to be sent to the printer, but does not print. An empty page
is ejected.
If I print to a file and afterwards open the file with evince, the document is
printed correctly.
xpdf prints the same pdf document correctly.
I tested

It's only an ACER TravelMate 240 (with i855gme)

I can confirm this bug.
To solve the problem i use the options:
Option "XaaNoScreenToScreenCopy"
Option "XaaNoSolidFillRect"
in the xorg.conf
GLX is also effected by the bug.
Glxgears shows a blank screen and after closing it reports:
