2008-06-05 Thread Metiu
Sorry guys, I had some more time to try the new driver, and I found that it is fixed on my Koolu too, only I had specified the FBSize options with 64MBs (which is what I had set in the BIOS), but the BIOS for some strange reasons keeps losing that setting. So let's call it fixed on my part. Thank

I understand, but it's funny since the old version of the driver (marked unstable on dev.laptop.org) did go to 1680x1050, even if with some artifacts due to some bugs... -- xorg not starting on geode lx on gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139232 You received this bug notification because you

Now it's working, it's just not going 1680x1050 and it says for unknown reason in the logs. If I set the FBSize to the right value (64M on my machine), it stops like above -- xorg not starting on geode lx on gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139232 You received this bug notification because

[Bug 135212] Blank or grey chars in font rendering

2007-08-27 Thread Metiu
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-amd I'm using contrast font rendering, since on geode subpixel hinting is too demanding on the CPU. Sometimes some characters are grey or even blank. This happens for instance on Thunderbird or on menus. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-
