Agree with #42. It does not seem to be a kernel related problem. Seems
the NetworkManager software is having some issue, I installed wicd and
it is working like a charm on the same connection. NetworkManager was
reconnecting every 3 minutes.
Adding NetworkManager software to the bug makes sense.
It works in lucid, but only through alternate install cd. with normal
install it was giving blank screen.
should i create another bug for this against the cd installer??? or add
cd installer package in this bug?

Sorry for earlier info. I have vfat partition on which the profile of
firefox is. It got corrupt again and I got this in the dmesg at that
time.

i have tested in kde. konqueror wheel keeps rotating, but it does not
hang konqueror. i can go to other folder. but the same does not happen
in gnome. desktop hangs and so does nautilus. kde has its own separate
application for desktop i think it is kdesktop and hence it does not
hang the desktop.

I am using evolution to work with imap for gmail.
The problem is evolution is not deleting the mails on the server even if
they are deleted from the inbox locally. I have to log in to gmail again
and delete the mails which I have already delete
Is it possible to get local subscription implemented in evolution like
it is there in Kmail, where even if your IMAP does not support
subscription you can filter locally and so you see only locally
subscribed folder. I know this might not be in scope of ubuntu but it
would be good if you can pass o
If that is the case there is some inconsistency. When I click on show
only subscribed folder and then manually select only certain folders in
the Folder ---> subscription, the folders do go off, so evolution would
be storing the details some where in the memory to not display them to
me but it does

In the subscription I have setup only some folders from gmail to be
displayed. This works fine till I log out. After log out evolution
reverts back to all the folders. It should retain the sub

After I suspend the computer, it goes to sleep without any problem.

I do not think this is duplicate. I have not enabled compiz on my

I found that it hangs whenever I close the lid and open it back. It was
