This happened while I was formatting a USB flash drive (64 GB Corsair
Flash Voyager) with Palimpsest. During the past hour or so I'd kept
getting I/O dropouts with that drive -- I'll test it on another machine
tomorrow, but it's brand new, so I doubt it's broken.
