I can confirm this happens on a fresh install using a previous home
directory with configs from ubuntu 9.04.

I get this on my Nokia 5200 too.
The last few lines output by dmesg are:

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 with this card and havnt managed to make
s-video output work. Im still using the config Ubuntu automagically did
for me.
