I agree with #2 and #3. I often have two or three Firefox windows on
different workspaces. If I want to switch from one to another, I need to
manually switch workspaces, whereas if there is another application open
only on another workspace, I can switch to that one using the icon in
the launcher.
Decisions like this made me leave Ubuntu with Unity for Xubuntu. I mean,
what's the point in using a CPU and GPU-intensive shell when it does a
way worse job than Xfce + Gnome-do?

version), Empathy shows one notification per message, which means the

I also see this issue with Intrepid on Thinkpad R52. I'm not sure when
it appeared (with update to Intrepid or later). For me, changing the
"lock on suspend" option has no effect; computer "resuspends" regardless
of that setting.

keys *do* work, as well as the "Access IBM" key, that didn't work before

On my Thinkpad R52 with Intel i915 I've installed Gutsy Beta 1 (so now I am
using Gutsy) with 'intel' driver and this issue does not occur anymore. After
opening the lid, the screen almost instantly turns back on and is NOT garbled.

If you look into the Makefile, you notice it looks for kernel source in
/lib/modules/$(KVER)/source, where $(KVER) is `uname -r`.
So you should make a symbolic link named 'source' that links to your kernel
source location. In my case:

Well, for an example I printed this page with firefox to my default
printer with default settings, but I checked the "print to file"
checkbox, so I can show the results. I converted the ps into a pdf.
My printer cannot print that close to the edges, that's one thing.
I can set bigger edges in File
I believe the "problem" is with the printer: firefox, by default, prints
headers and footers very close to the edge of the paper and many
consumer printers do not support printing on the edges.
Anyhow, printing in Firefox in Linux should be improved (setting edges is
unreliable, you cannot set an
