[Bug 445823] Re: jackd can't connect to firewire sound card

I'm having a similar problem I guess, my Alesis io26 interface is not recognized by ffado-dbus-server or jackd. After compiling from source (both libffado and jackd) it works, but sadly this breaks a lot of dependencies (ardour etc.). What could be the problem? -- jackd can't connect to firewire
