are lost when my laptop restarts or resumes from sleep/hibernation.
A temporary fix is to toggle repeat keys off and on again in the setting

I am also experiencing this bug on 20.04.1 LTS.
As with the previous comment, the internal keyboard of the laptop works
correctly with the delay/speed settings I've set. However my primary
keyboard, a USB keyboard, loses the delay/speed settings once the laptop
restarts or resumes from sleep/hiber
I confirm that downgrading to 4.15.0-106 fixed the issue for me.

it helps at all.
Most videos work OK with the default player, but VLC seems to be the
only one (of the 3 mentioned here, at least) capable of not lagging
behind on the 4K video I just downloaded.

I forgot to add that I originally installled VLC through apt
sudo apt-get install vlc
when I had the problem, I uninstalled it and tried through Ubuntu Software
Center and the problem stayed the same.

I get the same issue without wins in nsswitch.conf at all - but stranger
results yet depending on whether or not an iPhone is currently connected
to the computer.
With an iPhone connected, I get an invalid pointer crash with backtrace
ending in libusb, then libc shortly thereafter. (log attached)
I'm going to go ahead and take away the opinion I had of this some three
and a half years ago now - honestly, the GDB stub is in all likelihood
much more useful than whatever Bochs come up with themselves.

months (weeks?). But now it is back suddenly. I always apply the lates updates
to my system.
If I click on the Clock applet, the desktop freezes. It can be solved bij
opening a terminal (for instance with Ctrl+Alt+F2),

the monitor before I turned on the computer. But anyway, maybe it does

with full screen:

I cannot increase the backlight on my Acer 5102WMLi laptop to full
brightness.
The brightness of the backlight appears to stop at approximately 50%,
although this is just a guess. If you increase the brightness during the
boot process, you can successfully reach full backligh
I am also experiencing this bug with FireFox 2.0.0.3 on Kubuntu Feisty

We are experiencing this bug on all our Kubuntu Feisty Fawn machines.
Our temporary fix is using desktop shortcuts but we eagerly await a fix.
The importance of this bug is fairly high for us as it is effecting the
productivity of day-to-day tasks.
