For me cryptsetup with luks worked this way:
* booting LiveCD feisty beta
* installing cryptsetup in the lifesystem
* partitioning the system in 4 partitions
* formating and opening of luks encrypted devices for root home and swap (swap
is onetimeencrypted)
* starting graphical installer and
I can confirm that the patch from Carsten Schabacker worked for me. Now
using crypted root. :-)

Hm, maybe it is sensefull to backlist the bcm43xx by default, so this
error disappears and when installing bcm43xx-fwcutter the blacklisting
is removed automaticly.

That's not realy a bug. When you have a broadcom wlan interface, you
have two options:
1) using windows drivers with ndiswrapper
2) using thopen source drivers
When choosing the second option, you have to install bc43xx-fwcutter and
extract the firmware. Because the firmware is not and cant be (b

I tested various combinations of patches. When i only apply the patches
from comments 38 & 69 in http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7122
then the fans after suspend only work after i execute
$ echo 0 > /proc/acpi/fan/C34F/state
$ echo 0 > /proc/acpi/fan/C350/state
$ echo 0 > /proc/acpi/fan
Correct behavior is only obtained when the patches from comments 38 & 69
