I attached a disk from non-x86 network drive to x86 host. It has two
RAID partitions on it and an ext4 data partition. I installed lvm2 in
hope to get access to the RAID. The data partition has block size of
64KB and x86 was unable to mount it. I suspect the RAID has same
bloc
I had high CPU and unresponsive gnome desktop on older Ubuntu virtual
machine that was upgraded to 18.04 LTS from earlier past LTS versions on
VirtualBox 5.2.18 or earlier running on Windows 10. The high gnome-shell
CPU and unresponsiveness was randomly triggeded eg. by resizing
application windows

properly before creating a lot of tasks. Simple grep pam_env
/etc/pam.d/* reveals some packages, but not all. Is there a database
which packages provide which files?

I originally noticed this on Ubuntu 12.04 with 1:5.9p1-5ubuntu1.2, but
judging from the sources it seems to be in 1:6.6p1-2 as well.
I added to ~/.pam_environment
PATH DEFAULT=/home/user/bin:${PATH}
When I ssh into the machine it gives the prepended path twice:
$ ssh local
