When I first used Unity in Natty I instantly noticed the launcher
autohide when I maximised an app. I thought to myself "oh god, not
another dock that I'm going to constantly 'edge reveal' by accident". To

Just would like to add my tuppence. The launcher should be accessible
when the dash is invoked, here are some scenarios:-
1. I am using the application lens and then decide I want to use the
file lens instead. To do this currently, If I try to click the file lens
icon in the launcher the dash clos
Perhaps the dash should have window controls in the panel? At least
having a close button up there would provide a consistent option for
closing the dash.
