Except I'm having trouble with playing videos on facebook and youtube.
The video window is very strange, but the rest of the screen is fine.
I've updated all software, including firefox. I tried and failed to
update Adobe flash. (had a unspecified problem that seems to linger
when I re-attempt).
Immediately after the crash, I restarted and reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04
and it worked successfully. The installation seemed to begin where it
left off (i.e. crashed) and was done in no time at all. I'm pleased
with the result.

I have a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-840S in a portable caddy. This works just
fine with XP, Vista and Windows 7 32 and 64bit. Using Ubuntu 10.10 and

Do you need anymore information regarding this bug? It used to work fine
for me in Edgy but since upgrading to Feisty, the guidance power manager
does not report the frequency for my dual core Dell LAtitude D620
Notebook.
