Google shows instances of this bug going back to at least 2009. I had 19
of these files covering the first 13 days of May, starting when I
installed Pangolin and ending when I installed Mint 12/Cinnamon to
overcome an intractable printer problem. In my case all 19 files were
zero bytes.

It happens all the time - there doesn't seem to be any button or menu
item which allows me to open a new stream.
I have Gwibber 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10.

There seems to be no way of opening a new stream - the Gwibber menu does
not include it (is the entry missing?) and none of the task bar buttons
do it.

I upgraded to 10.04rc (32bit) and found that I could not access my
calendar in Thunderbird. I added Lightening from Tools>Add-ons and have
not had any problems. It found my calendar data, and just works.

The problem was initially with FF 3.0 so I reinstalled FF 2 alongside.
The bug was then perpetuated by a conflict between the two FF versions,
and eventually came to affect FF 2. The bug finally disappeared when I
removed FF 2, so must have been resolved in an update to FF 3.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for helping me with this. Cookies are enabled, but not third
party cookies.The sites in question are not included in my list of
exceptions.
The extensions I use besides the standard Ubuntu extensions, are Adblock
Plus and NoScripts. Disabling them makes no difference.

I would guess that this is an Ubuntu tweak overriding the Ff3

Some websites including my online banking website and travel site
firstchoice.co.uk seem unable to store data fed in in Firefox 3. I
cannot log into my bank, and the Firstchoice website does not allow me
to access specific holidays, but returns me to a general input page. Ff2
has always worked perf
