This bug drives me absolutely crazy. A working terminal is the most
important part of my desktop! I haven't seen this issue on my other
workstations (Redhat and fedora 16/17), just on both of my ubuntu
installs (precise)

I've also downgraded, but I downgraded to kernel 2.6.31-02063113-generic
#02063113 SMP Fri Jun 4 19:02:37 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux, and everything
is working much better! Not only is my temperature cooler, but my load
stays low, unlike the maverick kernel where my load hovered close to
1.0!

I too can confirm this bug. On my laptop, Dell Latitude D620, I have a
temp on both cores of 61C, and cannot seem to get it lower than that.
My fans also continously run a full speed.

I ran evolution with the following command:

I have been using firefox (2.0.0.11) for several days and have not
experienced any of the problems with it that I experienced with
epiphany. Another problem I had with epiphany that may or may not be
related is that occasionally the Save As dialog would look like
firefox's instead of epiphany's, e

Epiphany seems to randomly display pages incorrectly. These pages
normally display correctly in epiphany, but sometimes it looks like
epiphany is ignoring the page's css. Reloading the page will rarely fix
the problem, however, closing
