Thanks for the response. When was the bug fixed? I am now on 12.04 on my
Dell E6410 and I still only see a single resolution and the adds I have
added manually.

I have a Dell Lattitude E6410 which was running 11.04 and detected all
LCD panel resolutions. This was not the case when 11.04 was first
released but a subsequent update enabled all resolutions to be
recognised.
I upgraded to 11.10 and now only see a single LCD screen resolut
I have exactly the same problem on a Dell e6410 laptop using a brand new 11.04
Install and all updates.
100% consistent.
If I logon using Ubuntu Classic all works fine.
