I have similar problem with cups-1.4.6, hplip-3.11.3 on FreeBSD-8.2 with
Deskjet Advantage k209a.
After emptying job queue it still wants to print and pressing Cancel or
Power buttons on printer does not help - it will keep trying to fetch
paper until I cut off power manually by detaching power co

Today I've tried accessing blender.org whose name servers do not respond.
When using PAC whole browser locks up for ~15s, unfreezes then locks up again.
Switching proxy to manual or direct resolves issue, though browser seems
to freeze for almost second every 10-15 seconds
I'm using en-US both for system and my account, but I do have langpack-pl
installed.
Is it caused by merely installing langpack ?
