In Intrepid with 2.6.26-2 it cannot find iwl3945 microcode. It says this in
console
If I do a ifconfig, my usually wlan0 doesn't show.
Instead it shows up at iwconfig but can't connect or do anything.

There's a tip a read and it works. Just Plug and Unplug the wireless Reciever.
The scrolling goes magically back to normal. Hope this bug is fixed.

I have an intel 965, X3100.
Synaptic Claims intel xorg installed, but glxinfo shows that I am with mesa.
If I try to change it, even with Screen and Graphics, It comes back to mesa.
That's the problem users with laptops with X3100 integrated have.

Atheros 5007 wifi b/g is wrongly recognized as Atheros.
It is an Attansic chipset and Xandros in EEEpc use the Attansic L2 ethernet
driver and it works.
Why not do it here too ?
Btw Atheros bought last year Attansic so the marketing Let the name to
be AR5007, it has nothing to do with a Real Athe
