If may help, after setting Visual Effects to None in Appearance
Preferences, the system generated the report recorded in

Now I am working without problem but always with Visual Effects set to
None as reported from figbays on post #32

After setting Visual Effects to None the system reported a problem. I
did it to try to verify if the GNOME hang problem became resolved
because before I need to start in GNOME failsafe mode to avoid the
system hang. Now (apart the problem reported from the system) I am
working
