fact it adds <'file.ps'>. This prevents the plotting into this file, the
quotation marks have to be removed, which is bothersome.

Guest workes fine, so I guess the reason is something I modified in the
ccsm. Any hint how I can debug this?
Concering the "fully updated system":
root@Tosh:~# LANG=C apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly
With gnome I never experienced this erratic behaviour, hence I think it is
Unity-specific :-(
And for my work this makes Unity worthless!

Installing Ubuntu 11.10 from scratch results in the
