I deleted and formated the Hard drive went back to 13.10 got all the updates
and installed Wine
Quicken never got a chance to load I got a small black screen and that is as
far as it got ( I copied the files over
Danny wanfs me to re do his computer and back to 13.10 . . 14.04 last 6 sconds
and locks up after entering password

I have now been to Samsung web site and did a 40 minute chat and they
say that the video driver is not in Linux and ask about the FEUI or if
they knoew about it . . Got we dont know aything about it . . Now using
Ubuntu 13.04 and still have same problem

Seems it is with a lot of Samsung Laptops vidoe goes blank about every 25
seonds if your not typing or moving the mouse or hitting enter .. .
Since about the last few up dates and what ever it did in 3.5 upgrade left out
the video drivers for a LOT of Samsung Laptops

I found out how to fix it . . I had to go to the Ubuntu side of the 12.10 64
bit and open the time and then go to the tab of show day, date. and time. then
restart and go back to the Gnome Classic side and the Day month and year are
there along with the time

that means I will not up grade if no one wants to fix the error in the HPLIP
code that come out with 11.10 and 12.04 plus 12.10 . . And I use Gnome . .

Software update not working since last update, how do I get round it?? 3
days ago I was up to date when it last up dated and now no mater what I
have unchecked It comes back with ERROR : Server ERROR server may be
down or it needs source update . . Well I am here and typing .
Seems that no matter what program is installed I get a error message
saying NOT INSTALLED but the program is there and works or so far they
do . . I am considering re doing the computer with a CD . . Just rip it
out and re do it completely . . get the same with the Updates using the
update manager
