Hopefully this will be cleared up by itself from Debian. Nexuiz is
insistent on using the proper client version, and 2.4.2 is the newest
out. All Ubuntu releases are affected by this, most importantly Hardy
and Intrepid.

I just verified that it happens in UT2004 in windowed mode, and there
were no popups. Attached is a demo file from Nexuiz. I don't know how to
view them, but if someone else does, you can see what is happening. The
same thing occurs both in Windowed and fullscreen UT2k4.
