As I suspected, the incorrect disk driver for kvm was the issue.
I've attached a patch in the debian patch format, that lets me successfully

When attaching a disk (/dev/sdX or /dev/vdX), this is the output on the

I confirm that
apt-get install fonts-cantarell
mitigates the problem.
The texts, popups and tooltips are now fine, although a couple of icons are
still funny (accessibility and bluetooth -- the mouse-over effect fixes them
though).

I second Tony Maro: 10.10 does not add any masquerading for the node

A quick workaround that works for me is adding in /etc/rc.local:
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.42.0/24 -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE

Well, after some debate, that's probably the way we're heading (have a look at
bug #591747).
Another way, not listed there, would be to keep a dictionary of [distro,
python-module] -> package, with "distro" taken from "lsb_release --id", which
*should* be supported by most distros. That, however
that's a very specific solution to a general problem. Keep in mind that
gtg users use different kind of distribution and operating systems (i.e.
*Bsd).

Ok, we can add an option to select only some tags to show in the panel
