Or, to use the Panel Manager (from dschaerf*), because so far everything
is working as usual. Enabling Hibernate in the above entries and
activate the PM, and you've got Hibernate, Reboot, Shuttdown, etc. This
implies that the problem with the Panel Manager handle.

I could solve the problem in which I *"hibernate" the previously
activated function deactivated again.

[Disable hibernate by default in upower]

i confirm this, reloaded gnome-shell (alt+f2 r) is keyboardlayout english
-default is de.
my system: ubuntugnome 14.04 64bit with gnome-shell 3.10 (upgraded from
12.04.3).

i confirm this, the system can not reboot or shutdown. Not
reboot/shutdown on login-manger (gdm), not on desktop (gnome-shell) or
terminal.
My System:
Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 (upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-shell 3.4) +
gnome-shell 3.10 + nvidia gforce 210m with nvidia-331-updates driver.

Same problem here, evolution (version 3.8) is in english (german is
preferred) after upgrading from UbuntuGNOME: 13.04 → 13.10 …

My system: Ubuntu-GNOME 13.10 (32bit in vmwareplayer) - PPAs: gnome3 →
staging & next,
My system is currently. Various extensions have been tested, always with
the same result, after a "reboot" all extensions are disabled.
