I also have this problem. Are there any plans to continue the port
through to Lucid? I can't boot the netboot, and doing a release upgrade
results in a system that kernel-panics so badly that it won't respond to

Well it bolluxed it again. I had the file at work, and then when I got
home, I tried adding a third machine (we'll call it radio) and it showed
all files except the one I've been having problems with. Web interface
matched. Home machine now shows the .u1conflict file. I'll attach the

Yes, it was the one that had the conflict.
I was able to recover the file when I got home, though, by disconnecting
it from the network before I turned it on, and copying the file from the
UbuntuOne folder. Then when I reconnected it to the network and
resynced it, the file appeared in the Ubuntu
People always seem to want the syncdaemon log. Here's mine from the
machine at work today.

The one on the ubuntu-boot PPA works great. The one in Main does not.
I upgraded to the one in Main and it stalled at the same point it always
has. I manually "downgraded" to the one in the PPA and it booted it
fine.

In case the people debugging this don't have a diskless pxe system to
work from, I wonder if the difference between what the mtab says and
what the fstab says is confusing mountall. Example:

How did you get the sulogin to work for ctrl alt del? I tried replacing
the shutdown line in the conf file for upstart with 'exec sulogin' but

this problem as well, but you've gotten farther along on it than I have.
