When I try to mount my USB hard drive through "$sudo mount /dev/sdb1" I

Yes I configured the CA cert through network manager, in the CA cert
file field. I probably should have added this earlier but to get the
configuration I had, I manually set the wireless security to 'WPA
Enterprise' before filling in the rest of my settings. I don't know if
that affects anything or
I don't seem to have a wpa_supplicant.conf file, or at least not under
/etc/wpa_supplicant/, which is odd as I can connect to my WPA2 network
at home. However, with a bit of searching I think I found the files that
network manager uses for connection information under my
$home/.gconf/system/network

even after fetching all the latest updates for hardy, I don't have sound
playback. I've tried using ALSA and Pulseaudio with no success. If you

thats why its filed under apt :) An obvious workaround is to manually
download the flash plugin from adobe and install it yourself. It only
takes a minute or so.
