I apologize. I had a finger check and installed a package with the
wrong kernel number.
After installing this, however, now I don't get sound from either the
headphone jack or the internal speakers.
I have attached the latest modinfo snd-hda-intel.

Here is the updated alsa-info after installing the new alsa driver from
PPA:

I removed the mode=test parameter and installed the new alsa driver from
PPA, but I still have the same issue.
