@falkTX how could I update Jack? Synaptic is telling me that what I have installed (6:1.9.6~dfsg.1-3ubuntu2+fixes1~lucid2) is the latest (and this is after updating). I could theoretically force version to the main Lucid one (0.118+svn3796-1ubuntu2), but then it wants to uninstall about two dozen
