The same here: when booting 10.4 x64 from live cd I can see Ubuntu logo
for some time. Suddenly it disappears and I get the "no signal" message
from my monitor. Other than having no signal the system probably loads
fine as I can hear the initial sound of Ubuntu.
My specs:

inconsistent. The buttons were made to be in the old min,max,close

I don't think there's much that can be done on the theme side of this.
The Dustfox Firefox theme fixes this, but it's not the best solution.

Another way to state this bug is that the focus ring isn't visible.
Maybe it's because of a line similar to this in the gtkrc:
GtkWidget::focus-line-width = 0
Change this value to 1 for dotted lines. Alternatively, the theme could
set an image for the focus ring:

@pablomme: That doesn't work for Dust.
@Daniel: Firefox will have the Add Bookmark pop-up broken (black text on
black bg) as in the Dust theme if you use dark menus. But at least the
menubar will look OK.
The best way to handle this, IMO, is to make a FF/TB theme.

On the Hardy Beta release, this computer crashes while trying to connect
to a network. I am using ndiswrapper drivers on a rtl8187 wireless card.
This doesn't happen all the time, though, and I can use my wireless card
for a few hours before the computer crashes.
When it does
i tried both pacages too. the one on the forums works, but the one here
doesn't. :/
