I can confirm it happens to me also in 21.04. The PDF opens fine for me
but the instant I hit print the evince process pegs the CPU and stays
there indefinitely. Files are on the local disk. x86_64 architecture.

I initially had the ipod mount failure (heron upgraded from Gutsy
upgraded from Feisty).
After I installed the "ipod" package it mounted (and brought up the wrong
program, I haven't figured
out where the autorun settings moved to, it isn't under "Removable Drives and
Media" anymore).
