@bab1
I think that is not a proper way to replace a package. If I install it
manually from another release cycle or even distribution, I bypass any
security updates from the apt repository.

Thanks for the hint, but I'm not eligible to nomiate for the bug.
This is just ridiculous. The damn ubuntu bureaucracy makes me want to
change distribution more and more!

Changing the GTK2 theme globally makes everything look terrible. I'd suggest to
set the theme only for the affected application using the corresponding
environment variable:
$ GTK2_RC_FILES=/usr/share/themes/Raleigh/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

This is really annoying since the server was a plain router. No keyboard

Tried same thing on desktop version of natty. There the problem seems
fixed.
Still I'd consider this bug critical since lucid is the current long-

The same happens to me. The delay between selecting a kernel and first
boot messages is about 5 seconds. However if I select the windows boot
entry, there's no such delay. The windows 7 icon shows immediately.

After some testing I have to say that the problem persits.
The only way the get a reliable drive is to remove ehic_hcd.
