the release are close but are missing the usb ids
SD card is recognised in mass media mode, but device integration doesn't
work with applications.

I have just had an issue with this on the 11.10 beta on my eee 901.
First run of banshee with no media (the intention to change the location of the
music to scan my NAS), it did nothing after pressing for preferences.
Then checked with system monitor and it was chewing up 100% cpu, I killed the

Ok, this looks like it confirms it.
1st boot:
On cable, connect to wireless, all ok
Put lid down to go into standby
Lid up, wireless reconnects correctly
2nd Boot:
On cable, connect to wireless, all ok
Disconnect power, connection remains stable
Put lid down to go into standby
Lid up, wireless fa
Sorry, not yet .. on the EEE as mentioned I am still using the liveCD so
can't adopt a new kernel, or place new files.
Would the touch option work if I allow it to sleep instead of a reboot ?

Yes, I have done a few test boots now and it seems consistent.
When I have power plugged in during boot the wireless will connect, but on
battery if fails to authenticate.

Using 10.10 I have no issues with wireless. Using 11.04 live the
wireless connection is shown (so network scanning works) but the
connection never associates, it just keeps re-prompting for the key.
My wireless is WPA2

Yes its still alive .. I will get df output when i'm back home later.
There was nothing else knowlingly running at the time.
This is an eee901 and so any other activity (especially one writing
100mb) would have been noticed...

Ok, looks like this has solved the issue for me!
As I have thought it was fixed a couple of times, I have left it longer to make
sure, and it is fine.
As it is a MythTV box then its left to suspend as it sees fit, and so
has suspended/resumed many times with no recurrence of the static.

This bug is marked as fixed when using gnome-panel - 1:2.29.92-0ubuntu1, yet I
am running maverick with gnome-panel 1:2.30.2 and still have the issue.

My list of installed software shows : 7zip, Advanced Desktop Effects Settings
and Personal file sharing.
Although the issue may seem trivial it does make the software centre lose
credibility.
