Sorry it took me a while to respond. It's mostly an issue when I'm in
the process of hitting Alt+Tab or Alt+` and then decide that I've
changed my mind and I let go of Alt. Instead of nothing happening, the
HUD appears which is not what I would expect.

Curious how it works on Wireshark 1.6.7 on Windows but not on Ubuntu
12.04. In any case, it appears you're right. I just checked the
trunk-1.6 dissector code[1] and it hasn't been patched yet.
