After upgrade from intrepid to jaunty, my dell latitude D630 with nvidia card
has a noisy fan permanently on. Not sure whether it is the CPU or graphic card
fan.
Fan was usually quite with Intrepid and MS windows.

In /usr/lib/kde4/bin/startkde , the line
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/kde4/lib
should be
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/kde4/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Since some programs may need a predefined LD_LIBRARY_PATH to run.

I think it should get higher priority, as it is really confusing. I
spent almost an hour trying to find the answer, while it could be fixed
with a simple rephrase.
