Thank you for the bug report. I was able to confirm this issue on
intrepid. It does indeed seem to be triggered with all mono related
applications.

grateful if you were more descriptive about what happens before it
crashes and what happens when it crashes. In order to fix this bug we
need it to be repro
Sorry, I was wrong to say that this bug will probably affect Gutsy. It
seems that the Gutsy version of ttf-gentium provides GenAI102.ttf but
the Hardy version does not.

I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu Hardy. What version of Ubuntu are you
using? I am pretty sure that this bug also is in Gutsy since they appear
to use the same version but if anyone using Gutsy can confirm this that
would be great also. I found this bug on also Debian's bug tracker and
it was fixed
