The only way (so far) that I've been able to recreate this is by *not*
putting in my password when the "Unlock Keyring" dialog comes up.
Can anyone confirm that they've seen this and put in their password in
the "Unlock Keyring" dialog box when their computer first boots?

Thanks very much for taking the time to report this bug! It sounds like
it would be quite frustrating to have podcasts in the wrong folder after
a sync with your media player.

I need help further diagnosing it, but today (Friday October 10th) I
installed the mornings updates to interpid, and upon rebooting GDM login
screen will not recognize (zero response) my keyboard (both external and
built in on my laptop) or mouse (both external and trackpad).
While I appreciate that everyone wants to voice their opinion, it seems
we've come to the consensus that the wallpaper is not quite up to par

through the steps you mentioned and there are no files in /var/log. I
