has two lines hard coded to use /usr/sbin/ethtool when ethtool exists in
/sbin

Cluster LVM Daemon c

Binary package hint: clvm
After clvm is installed the service does not start. Upon review this
appears to be related to debian bug #594196 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=594196).
Creating the directory /var/run/lvm does resolve the problem.

Downgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 today which is using likewise-open
5.4.0.42111-2ubuntu1.2
I had no problems joining the Active Directory Domain using this
version.

Fresh Install of Ubuntu 10.10
During install of likewise-open I get the following error:
[HKEY_THIS_MACHINE\Services\srvsvc]
'Type' Merged.

This issue is specific to version 5.4.0.42111-2ubuntu1.1
Version 5.4.0.42111-2ubuntu1 still lives in the main repository and
seems to work just fine however probably not recommended as .1 was a
security update. Downgrading worked for me.

I'm also experiencing this problem.
I have tried completely purging the likewise-open package and
reinstalling.
During the install I get the following towards the end:
* Reloading Likewise Service Manager configuration
