The Rhythmbox plugin works like it currently does because the two
relevant inhibit flags that gnome-session provides are 'suspend' and
'idle'. 'Suspend' (as far as I know) inhibits all suspend operations,
including user-initiated ones such as closing the laptop lid. WIth the
older version of the pl
commit 5d27c9db33dfb6125f97dfc73c4e8d19d09089f3 fixed this. I should
have mentioned this was required for the current mpris code to work,
sorry.

hal-info in hardy currently isn't setting the 'portable_audio_player'
capability on most usb mass storage audio players, so rhythmbox (at
least) ignores them.
