How's the ETA on this?
I'm using 22.04 LTS and this bug also affects calico, which manages firewalls
in kubernetes. As far as I know, the only work around is to downgrade the
kernel update. Also 5.15.0-128 seems affected which is the latest available in
apt.

See above for dmesg and Xorg logs as well which I managed to get after
triggering the problem again again (after full apt upgrades).

If I deactivate the laptop display while using an external it seems to work
even in the higher resolution.
But it will always crash if I use both displays with their highest resolutions
