The runtime linker+loader /lib/ld-linux-armhf.so.3 makes an incorrect check for
a loadable shared library. Subroutine check_arm_attributes_hfabi() in file
glibc/elf/dl-load.c currently looks only at the Elf(W)Shdr records of type
SHT_ARM_ATTRIBUTES, and ignores Elf(W)Ehdr.
The problem has gone away after "apt-get dist-upgrade; apt-get update; apt-get
upgrade" which upgraded more than 100 packages and included a dkms build for
nvidia. "dpkg --list" now reports:

Binary package hint: xorg
The X11 app from http://bitwagon.com/duv/duv.html freezes and/or has
problems with Window manager under development branch for Ubuntu 11.04.
It works in every other system for the previous 10 years, both XFree86
and Xorg, including Ubuntu 7.04 throug

It does not work for me.
I just tried it on "Dapper Drake" live CD for PowerPC under Fedora Core
4 on x86 using gnome-desktop-2.10.0-5 and nautilus-2.10.0-4; the result
was "CD-R Disk" for the icon name on the desktop. Note that the target
architecture of the CD (PowerPC) and the host architectur
