I add the same problem with firefox with the old Ubuntu version but I
upgraded to edubuntu 12.04 LTS . Now my firefox is working good

I add the same problem with someone computer. I used the cd disk to boot
the computer and backed up all the the picture and other personal
document . Then I installed the new version of Ubuntu with windows and
i add no more problem.
ps. other thing you may whant to look at is the configuration of

new version of ubuntu and many time this would solve my problem with

did you try to update to the new ubuntu version? It is a good idea to
keep your ubuntu updated to the new version if posible . THis will help
your computer and driver for your hardware to run correctly

log out icon then click on restart.
step 11 if everething worked ok , then when you computer reboot and go
back to the command prompt your log in screen will be fix with the right
