Calling "keychain -l" to list the loaded keys produces the message:
/usr/bin/keychain: 1537: [: end: unexpected operator
end
I suspect that keychain uses bashisms despite the fact that #!/bin/sh is
called out (which resolves to dash). Things behave normally after
hacking /u
Was this ever reported upstream? If so would someone kindly piont me to
the upstream bug. I am currently seeing this on kubuntu-14.04 using kde
4.13.

As Ubuntu 9.10 is no longer supported, and this bug is not present when
using zeroc-ice34 on ubuntu 13.10, this should probably be closed. I
was unable to figure out how to close it otherwise I would have.

It would be nice/useful if apt were capable of downloading multiple
packages simultaneously. It should identify which packages come from
which repo and start one thread for each repo. If the bottle neck for
downloads is the repo and not an end users
OK I have a little more information. It turns out that it is not
registering people logging out of tty~tty6. If I log into tty1 it will
show the correct number of users logged in and those users logged in to
the correct places. When I log out of tty1 it still shows that the user
is logged in. I
